Side Project and Short Story Update

Ugh... Do you know how frustrating it is to keep writing this blog day in and day out, focusing entirely on literary topics, all while having something awesome and life changing happening to you that you can't talk about? Perhaps, but just in case, I'll edify you by letting you know that it's very frustrating. 

Don't get me wrong, I love my blog and love everything that's come from it. It's forced me to make and keep a habit. For over 400 days straight I've never missed a blog post and I think that's something I can be proud of, even if only three people look at it. But for months now I've been working on this side project. Don't get too excited or... more accurately, excited in the wrong direction; it's not about The Paladin. I wish it was. Especially after somehow lucking out and being part of a writers group with people getting favorable replies from agents on the regular. No... this is something completely different. Hopefully I'll be able to make an official announcement soon.

But on to writing matters. I've got my five short stories and I'm still trying to finish up the first chapter for each one. Once I have that done I'll put up another poll and start putting out the chapters here on the blog for you guys to read and vote on. It's an experiment. I want to see if I can write what people actually want to read. Hopefully someone will actually take the time to read these things. If not... I suppose I'll have more fodder for WattPad or whatever site I end up putting material on.
