They say you should never read more than one book at a time. It mixes up the plots and lowers the enjoyment of each one, or so the saying goes. I don't know why I didn't think that would extend to writing books. See, I promised to have five, count them, five short story starters out this week. That's not going to happen. It's my fault and I apologize.
I may be able to release them over the next few weeks, but dropping all five this week is beyond my capabilities. And really, that's something I should've known. Am I particularly fast at writing? Well... I suppose not if you look at how long it took for me to get The Heir of Archmond out. Why I thought I could knock out the first chapters for not one but five completely different stories kinda boggles me. Past Matias, you're a doof. So what now? Well, hopefully I'll be able to share the first story next week and the rest as they're available. Hopefully I also won't have a game to review while I'm doing that (I'm in the middle of a deep game. No, not that one. Nope, not that one either.) Depending on how this week finishes out, what with the game I'm reviewing and my side projects demanding some time, I'll try to have that first chapter ready. And maybe a better name. The Man Who Talked to Himself sounded really deep year ago. Now it's a little ... meh. DFTBA
